Galileo's laws of inertia -
If a net external force is zero, a body continues to rest and in equal motion, a body moves evenly along the same straight line.

What is Inertia) The property of all bodies, on the basis of which they cannot change themselves from their state of rest or a state of uniform motion along a uniform line, is called inertia.

Type of Inertia -

1.Inertia of Rest - It is the inability of a body to change by its self, it's a state of rest. this means a body at rest remains at rest and cannot start moving on its own, Rather, a body at rest opposes the force that tries to move it.
for example - when a horse starts, suddenly, the rider tends to fall backwards.

2. Inertia of Motion - It is the inability of the body to change by ,it's self it's a state of uniform motion. that is a body in uniform motion can neither accelerate nor retard on its own and come to rest , rather, a body in uniform motion opposes that tries to stop it.
for example - when a horse full gallop stops suddenly, the rider falls forward on account of inertia of motion.

3. Inertia of Direction - It is the inability of a body to change by its self, it's the direction of motion, that is a body continues to move along the same straight line unless compelled by some external force to change it, rather, a body opposes the force that tries to change the direction of motion.
for example - The rotating wheels of any vehicles throw out mud, due to direction of inertia.

First Law of Newton - a body continues to be in its of rest or of uniform motion along a straight line unless it is acted upon by some net unbalanced force to change the state.

                  F = ma    ( where F is the Force, m= mass, a= acceleration of the object.)

Third Laws of Motion - To every action, there is always equal to the opposite reaction. that is the force of action and reaction are always opposite.

Explanation of Newton's Second Law - 

suppose two bodies of different masses are initially at rest and a fixed force is applied on them for a interval of time . to start with , the lighter body picks p a greater speed than the heavier body ,Hhowever, at the end of the time interval, observation show that each bodies acquires forces.

to understand it further , suppose
m= mass of a body , v = velocity of body 
then, linear momentum of the body , p = mv
 F * t = p, F = p/t ,  F = mv/t ( where p = mv )
finally , F = ma
